Sliding glass door rail replacement

Quick Learner from Dadeville Alabama
The door is heavy glass about 4 ft wide with a stationary door an additional 4 feet. So the rail is about 8 feet in total. Entire bottom unit is 6 inches wide but the rail portion is about 1 and a quarter inch. The rail itself is 1 inch tall made of hard plastic which is breaking. I can not find any markings as to the brand or make but the door is over 25 years old.

Hi there!

We only sell one sliding glass door track which would be our 80-106. Look over our dimensions and compare them with yours to see if this matches what you need.

Unfortunately that one is not tall enough. Not sure I could make it work. Are there any other companies I could try?

If the specifications match and if you need an 8' track, you can use two 80-106 tracks and simply butt them together. This is 6' long, so you'll have to cut the excess off with a hacksaw. Otherwise they should work well as long as there's no gap between them. You can see the video below for more detailed instructions.
