Sliding glass door roller assembly replacement needed

A home owner from Maineville, Ohio says:

So happy to find this website. Can you tell me what part I need to fix my 35 year old sliding doors? I have 2 doors with same type of assembly. 1 1/4 inch wheels. The door frame is marked "Payne Door Company".

Thank you for helping me. I have spent quite a bit of time, and could find nothing that looks like these.

Hello, Dave. I'm sorry to say that I wasn't able to find a good match for this roller, either. The back end appears to be a somewhat unique design. I don't seen any hole for an adjustment screw, and the installation hole is halved in the housing. The dimensions are also admittedly difficult to ascertain from your photos.

My first recommendation would be the 81-261. This is similar to your part in terms of design, but there are still a few differences that I'm unsure about. Review the diagram below and see how well they compare.
