These vinyl strips need replacement. They have 1/4" t-tops are are a half inch wide. The sit in a 78" long aluminum slot. How can I replace?

Bob, these sliding glass doors are 1970's vintage. I need a non-adhesive 5/16" or 3/8" backing to slide into the existing full length slot. The slot is credit card width

The 58-201 is not adhesive. It has a kerf mount that looks similar to what you showed in your photos. If the dimensions match what we show, this can work--in any event, I believe it's our closest match. Let us know if you have further questions.
