Sliding glass patio door handle with lever lock

A quick learner from Medford, NJ says:
Do not know the name of the door manufacturer. The bolt holes are 4" apart. Every handle we have purchased from Lowes and HD have broken again and again. We're looking for a good quality handle, preferably with wood trim and possibly satin nickel metal.

Our 82-035 looks like a good match, but you say it keeps breaking. If that's the case, then the problem isn't with the handle, but with the rollers. They are either worn out and need to be replaced, or your track is clogged with dirt and debris. Either way, when the rollers are bad, this makes you yank on the handle harder than intended just to open the door, which will break it over time. Ideally, it shouldn't take much effort to open a patio door. If you find yourself having to force it open, then I highly recommend looking over the condition of your rollers. Otherwise, it will only be a matter of time before any new handle you buy will break.
