my original has a hole that passes all the way through (lower right hand side) that is secured to bottom of door with machine screw set-up that allows it to pivot...the 81-140 doesn't have a hole the goes through it??

Our 81-140 has the hole you mentioned, but it is used to connect the wheel-portion of the roller unit (which is what you show in your images above) to the back-portion of the roller unit. Look in your door and see if the piece that attaches to your roller's hole looks anything like the back-portion of our 81-140.
