We have a pair of sliding closet doors with the plastic portion of the top guide broken on 3 out of 4. They are brass. I am unsure how to remove them, thus I am sending only photos of them attached. The first two numbers visible under the plastic portion are 4 0. I have also sent a photo of the bottom roller. These closet doors are in a condo community built in the mid 80s if that is helpful.

Thanks for posting to our discussion board. I believe you may be able to use our 23-044 top guide and our 23-041 mirror door roller assembly. To remove the old guides, you need to lay the doors down. Next, take some needle nose pliers and work out the hook from the cut slits in the door frame. Let us know if these instructions worked for you.

A pick works much better.
Just visualize where the clip is on the opposite side and pry the clip toward the opening.
Practice on the new one until it makes sense.
