Thanks for posting! There are a few locks that come to mind with that measurement but to ensure we are providing your the right replacement recommendation, I'll need to see a photo of the existing hardware.

Are you able to provide a photo of your lock?

No unfortunatly, it fell into the door. The screw holes are 3 11/16". But, body of the standard lock is about 1/16-3/32" too long. Photos of the lock opening attatched.
Thank you for your help!

Hi Sue,

Thanks for the photo. You can use the 82-218 Mortise Lock to repair your sliding patio door. I am confident this will work for your repairs but take a look over the dimensions to confirm.

Be sure to take a look at the video tutorial tagged below as a reference for installing the lock.

Hello,
Unfortunately, this lock could not be used. We will not be dissasseblong the door to replace it. It cannot turn the corner. Is there a smaller body alternative? The photo is an image of as far as it gets.
Hope you have advise besides taking the door appart!
Thanks

Hi Sue,

It wouldn't be necessary to disassemble the door to install the mortise lock. Take a look at the video tutorial below to see if this might help.
