this part no longer has the tension to hold the window where you put it. Therefore the window always falls to the closed position.
1. What is this part?
2. What parts need replacing to solve this?

Hello,

We can't say for sure what you need with the hardware still installed but your photo resembles our 15-087, which uses the S180 coil springs. Take a look and see how the dimensions compare. Thank you!
