This part slides into aluminum exposure and has a locking washer that gives friction when it closes or opens. It engages into the fixed window frame.

Unfortunately, we do not carry an exact replacement for the latch shown in your photo. We carry a few options that are similar but I'm not confident they would work for your application. If you could show us the tail end fo the latch that engages with the sash, that would help us confirm. Thank you!
