Sliding window sash balance

Home Owner from Jacksonville, FL
I need to replace the sash balance on three of my sliding windows. The part number imprinted on the side of the balance shows 29 3 BQ Caldwell. I've attached pictures from one that isn't broken. Could you verify if the replacement part I need is Swisco S395-30?

I also want to commend your company on the YouTube video showing how to replace them.

Thank you! We work very hard on our videos and I'm glad to hear you find them useful.

I also agree that our S395-30 looks like a good match. The only way to verify is to confirm that the nylon fittings on either end match your style and dimensions. The styles are certainly the same, but I cannot speak for the dimensions. We have detailed measurements on the 19-005 and 15-001 store pages that you can use as a reference. I feel confident that they'll be the same, but it's better to be 100% sure.

19-005 looks correct but it looks like I need the 15-002 shoe instead of the 15-001 since it has a 1" depth. Can the S395-30 be ordered with a 15-002 shoe? I'm assuming I would select 2930 stamp option since the imprinted code is 29 3 BQ Caldwell. I also need a window top sash guide. Could you verify from the picture that the part number is 18-166?

OK no problem! We can custom design this balance for you so it has the 15-002 1" shoe instead. I will shortly send you a link to order (6) of these balances. If you have any questions, just ask me! And yes, good job, I think your Top Sash Guide does look like our 18-166. Just go over the dimensions listed on the product page to confirm they match. Thanks again for considering our business, we really appreciate it.
