Sliding windows are hard to open

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble. Is this a horizontal sliding window? If so, your first step should be to remove the sash and then clean and lubricate both the track and the rollers. In most cases that will fix the issue for you, but if the problem persists then you may need new rollers entirely.
