Snap stud needed with no bend

Question

I am attaching pictures of what I am looking for, a slider piece and the piece that attached to the slider. There should be two of these on the right and left bottom portions of the window, but I am missing a piece. I tried the 36-078 snap stud but it is not correct due to the 90 degree bend. I need a snap stud with no bend, just a straight connection. I'm attaching pictures of what I need and the wrong stud showing the 90 degree bend.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this. I'm afraid we couldn't find an alternate version of the 36-078. This is the only shoe stud in this design I could find.

I can't say for sure, but it's possible your original was a 36-078 but the original installers straightened it out manually. Looking at your second photo, it seems like it's bent a little. I don't think they're made to work this way.

If this is what happened then you may need to replicate the process, though even then I cannot guarantee it will work. Altering hardware to work is always a gamble.
