I have 9 M & W double casement windows in one room and all 18 snubbers are broken. All the measurements are the same the only difference is the ones that were on the factory windows do not have a insert. It doesn't look like that would make a difference. I will post again if they work.

The nylon insert in the 39-547 is just supposed to make the window sash close a little better. It acts as a guide.

With reference to my last email re: snubbers, I found out that the pvc inserts are so the wear on the window clad is limited. Is this snubber manufactured out of metal or plastic.

The 39-547 is metal with a plastic insert.
