Sobinco Door Latch Hooks

Quick Learner from North Myrtle Beach, SC

Greetings, I recently purchased a Condo with 2 Sobinco heavy duty hurricane resistant patio doors. One appears to be fully intact, although difficult to open and latch. The other has a completely different latch strike, appearing to be amaturishly rigged using inappropriate parts and marginally functional. I have attached photos of the correct door latch. Can you identify the part? It is the aluminum hook mounted inside of the door frame. I can't find this part on any website, but I did find a Sobinco 6760 latch which looks very similar to the one on my doors. any help would be appreciated. If you do have this part available, please provide pricing and lead time.

Thank you.

Hi Steven,

Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement for the door latch shown in your photos. If you haven't already, I would recommend reaching out to Sobinco directly to discuss your replacement options.

I'm sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for your reply. What latch do you sell that works with the 6760 lock? I learned from our local hardware professional that the latch keep that I have is not the correct one for that lock. Unfortunately, they were not able to find a domestic source for the correct Sobinco keep.

Unfortunately, 6760 is not one of our product codes. If you have an original lock that you could show us, we'd be happy to confirm if we have any records of the keeper used with it.
