Solar Tite Sliding Door

A home owner from Clermont, FL says:
Hi, I need some help! Two things. one is I'm concerned about my measurements on the weather strip because the sun and weather has shrunk the materials ... so here's what I get 3/16 x 3/8. see photos. My next concern is installation. I don't see a way to feed the new striping in the cannels.(see photos) Any help?

thank you, Steve

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
We do carry the 58-198, which has a 3/16" backing and a height of 7/16", if you think that could work in your door. 7/16" is a little higher than 3/8", but you said yours may have shrunk a little. In a worst case scenario you could always give it a slight "haircut" with a straight edge razor.

Looks like original wool pile was installed before the doors were assembled. What I do in this situation is to put one half of the wool pile base into the groove and then use the back edge of a razor knife to force the other side of the wool pile leg into the groove.
