Spiral Balance

Home Owner from USA
Hello
I measured from screw to screw (screw that goes into my blue Pivot shoe to screw at top of window going into window track) on my current spiral balance and that is 37 1/2 inches. Does this mean I need a 35" Series 600 Spiral Tilt Window Balance? My tubes are white and my windows tilt in.

Should I buy the tool to charge the window track and if so how much do these cost?

Some of my pivot shoes are in bad shape, and I see I can buy these (i have blue in color) How do you get them in the track? Your customer service mentioned a "cut out" procedure do you have a video on this?

Thanks

Hello,

To determine the length needed for your balances, you'll need to measure just the housing tube as shown below. Also, make sure to confirm that the housing tube measures 5/8" in diameter like the S600. We also offer the 75-006 to install and charge the new balances.

As for the pivot shoe, we would need to see an intact version removed from one of your windows to compare to our inventory. We'll also need you to confirm the exact width and thickness to narrow down your options since you can't get exact measurements with the shoe still installed. Thank you!
