Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. This looks like a spiral balance for tilt windows, such as the 3/8" S900 or 5/8" S600. You'll have to measure the diameter of the tube to determine the best match. Note that the length is determined by measuring only the outer tube. The video below goes over the replacement process.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Emily.  The tilt windows are very heavy, so I am betting it is the larger diameter.  The length is 39 inches, and diameter is measuring 0.55 Inches (9/16).  Do you have that diameter?

See the S600-39. The outer tube is 9/16" in diameter, but it is considered 5/8" in the trade. You can also select the red tip option. A pair of S600-39 balances with a red tip will support a sash weighing 12 to 30 pounds.
