Spiral Balance Black Tip 35" 3/8"

I haven't been able to find a black Tip anywhere online. Not sure exactly the difference between the colors but I watched your video on identification of a spiral balance. Need 3 black tip 35" length 3/8" diameter spiral balances.

I'm afraid they don't make 3/8" diameter balances with a black tip. I suspect yours has just become discolored with age. Can you confirm the weight of the window sash? That will help us come up with the appropriate spring strength.

Yeah I ended up getting a paper towel and cleaning it off to reveal a white tip lol. I'll weigh it when I get home and look though.
