Spiral Balance Color Needed

Question

I am replacing a tilt aluminium frame window balance(s).
Current balance's tip is colored "plastic" (maybe white but not sure). The two spiral balances are 3/8" diameter, 35" long, believe 900 series, and the window weighs 28 pounds. What color balance do you recommend.

Hi, based on your sash weight of 28 lbs, you can go with the yellow tip option.

This information is based on 2 balance per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
