Spiral Balance Issues

Question

I purchased and installed your S600-29 (Black tip) Spiral balance and I'm running into an issue where the window does go all the way up but, it doesn't stay up, it falls back down halfway. Do you know what the issue may be? There doesn't seem to be much tension in the balance to begin with to hold the window up.

Thanks for posting! You'll need to start with confirm that the weight of the window sash falls between 31 to 40lbs. If it does, you may need to add tension into the balance. For this we suggest using a tool like the 75-006 Spiral Balance Charging Tool.
