Thank you for your patience during this busy season. Your gray balance tube looks like it might be a match for one of our special Hybrid balances. I just had a few questions to confirm.

First, it the exact length of the tube 30"? Can you also tell me if there are there any markings on the tube? I'd also like to see the pivot shoe that the spiral attaches to. Finally, please tell me the exact weight of the sash.

Hi!
So the tube is exactly 30" and no markings. It is a small half window, so we're thinking just the 25 lb weight. The window is in rental unit, so she sent me this picture, I don't know if you can see the pivot shoe well enough,
Thanks for your time!

I Wasn't able to see the pivot shoe, but the balance with the red bearing looks like our S600-30 with a red tip. This series is normally used for tilt windows, which surprises me being used on a non tilt. What is the width of the two pins on the spiral?

Yes! I thought it looked like your tilt window too, but I asked three times... doesn't tilt.

I'm sorry for the confusion; I need the length of the individual pins, not the distance between them. There are a couple different balances with extra long pins like this, but I need to determine which version you have.

Ok, thanks! Looks like they are just under 1/2 in

Thank you, this is a huge help. We have learned that we can supply this balance, but it will have to be a special order due to those pins.

We'll email you an order link and price quote now for two, which is our minimum. If you wanted to change that quantity though, please let me know here and I would be happy to do so.
