Spiral Balance color

Question

I need to replace some broken spiral balances. They are 5/8 in diameter, but have a yellow tip. The windows are large (sash is 33" tall, 48" wide, and they are heavy. I haven't removed one yet to see how heavy, but they are definitely heavy.

Is there a level of yellow that is beyond black?

Black Tip balances have the strongest spring strength of all our Series 600 balances. If you don't know what tip color you need, I highly recommend weighing your sash on a scale to know exactly what to pick.
