Spiral Balance for Champion Double Hung Tilt Windows(White Vinyl)

Question

My White Vinyl Double Hung Champion Windows need new spiral balances. The existing spiral balances are 9/16" x 34 1/4" with red tips. The spiral balances have a white vinyl sheath that i have removed in the pictures included. the spring on the inside actually measures 7/16" x 34 1/4".

Im looking to replace with S600-34 (Red-tip). Do you have any suggestions what to do about making the color match so that they wont stand out so much in the window frame? Should I try to paint them or maybe cut the white vinyl sheath and slip it over the new spiral balance.

I agree, our S600-34 looks like a good place to start. Unfortunately, we don't carry balances with different colored tubes. You could maybe try painting, but I'm not sure how well that will work. If you can put the old tube over the new balances that might work, but I don't think it will fit. Could be worth a shot.
