Spiral Ballance

This is a follow up of previous post.
The Window sash weighs 16.5 LBS
The spiral ballance that is in the window measures 3/8" Diameter
Length is 28"
It has a black, plastic end.
The outside cover is plastic.
If I read your weight chart correctly, should this be a red tip,(10-26 lbs)?
What happens is the black tip keeps coming out of the spring portion.

Thanks for all the detailed information! That's absolutely enough for us to identify your balance. For a tilt window, a 3/8" diameter balance should be our Series 900. You'll need an S900-28 with a red tip. A green tip would also work. Let me know if you need anything else.
