Hello!
I am replacing my spiral springs (3/8"×31") and there are no colored tips on mine. The sash weight is 20 lbs. Should I get red tips or bump up to green? Will a heavier spring capacity improve performance?

Hi there!
Sure, the green tip option carries 20 pounds. That should be fine. It'd only be an issue if you go all the way up to yellow.
