Spiral Tilt Window Balance

Hello,
I'm attempting to replace my 1/2" pivot shoe and spiral tilt window balance. I currently appear to have a 900 series 29" yellow tip spiral tilt balance. I was wondering whether it would be ok to replace with 600 series as it appears to be more popular than the 900 series? Thank you in advance for your time.

If your original balance is the Series 900, then you want to stick with that. A Series 600 won't even fit in the track since it's so big. It's not a matter of popularity, it's a matter of getting the right part for the job. If you have the Series 900 then you want the Series 900.
