Can you ID this window balance. It appears to be a 3/8 in. diameter by 23 5/8in length. The outer tube is plastic, and the fixture on the end appears to be white. There are two pins. I have attached two photos.

Thanks for posting. Can you confirm the diameter of the outer tube? It looks like it might be larger than 3/8". If the outer nylon tube is 5/8" or 9/16", then I recommend our S600-24 spiral balance.

No it's definitely 3/8in.

No it's definitely 3/8in. Is the white insert significant? I rarely see that. Is the plastic hook on top significant?

Is it possible that that bushing is yellow. I can't see the difference.

Thanks for clarifying. If the outer nylon tube is 3/8", then I recommend our Series 900 instead.
The end tip looks like it could be a discolored white, but to be honest you may just want to play it safe and weigh your sash on a scale. We have a chart on the S900-24 store page that tells you how much weight each color tip option can support.

Best guess the sash is 20 lbs. Do you think either would work?

Based on a guess, I'm afraid I really can't say for sure if either will work.
