Spiral Window Balance

Question

Attached are the pictures for a spiral balance. The balance is overall about 29 1/8 and from he bottom of the balance to the black rubber piece its 28 1/2 and diameter is 3/8. The white piece is 17/8 inches in length and 1 inch wide. Hopefully you can help. Thanks

We can definitely help, but I'd like you to confirm the diameter of your balance tube. You said that it's 3/8", but I also see that it has a black tip color option. The thing is, no 3/8" balance was ever made with that color tip. Can you double check to make sure your measurement is accurate? Be sure to only measure the outer tube, not the internal spring.

If the tube is 3/8", then I recommend the Series 900. If it's 9/16", then you want the Series 600 instead.

I can tell you now at least that the shoe is a match for our 15-045. This is mostly used with the 3/8" Series 900.
