Spiral Window Balance

Question

These both came from the same window. They are 29 inches in length and 3/8 inch diameter. They are attached at the top with a simple screw and an attached clip at the bottom. The symbols on them are very faded, but look to read out as "GC B 1375". This could be incorrect however.
