Spiral Window counterbalance spring

Question

The spiral balance that I removed from a GA aluminum double pane window measures .380" diameter and is 30" in length.  I have attached photos that show the color of the tip and another of the end attachment tab.

Thanks for your post! Your spiral balance can be replaced with the 3/8" diameter S400-30. The tip color would be the red tip option.

These window balances typically attach to the bottom of the window using a bracket. Be sure to double check your window to determine the bracket you balances might use.
