Spiral balance

Question

Inquiring about which balance to order. Currently the balances I have are red, 27" long and the window weighs 15 lbs. Would  it be wise to replace with blue? Is the blue a little bit heavy duty compared to the red? Please advise of which is the best route to go, thank you.

I personally have known contractors who tend to go with the blue tip option because they feel the extra heavy duty balance will perform and last longer with less strain on the spiral.
