Spiral balance for tilt window

Hi, Can I get by with your stock 48 inch S600? My tilt window weights 28 lbs and the existing 9/16 inch diameter balances are 49 inches (from end-to-end of the aluminum tube only). The cap is white, but I don't think it is color coded. If I need to special order 49-inchers, how long and what is the cost of a pair?

Well, we have a couple options. If you wanted to go with the S600-48, you would need to drop down the top installation hole where the balance attaches to the jamb track by 1" to make up for the difference in size. Otherwise, we can custom make a 49" long balance for you. It shouldn't be an issue. Let me know how you want to proceed.

For your sash weight, I would recommend the Red Tip in either case.
