Spiral balance from 1940

A home owner from Malvern, PA says:

Hi

Please let me know if you have something that can replace this.

From 1940 timeframe 23 inches long 9/16 wide

Window weighs 9lbs

This balance attached to bottom of window but I am open to trying a different window attachment

Hello,

Your balance that is permanently attached to the mounting bracket is no longer available but see either the 5/8" diameter S500-23 spiral balances and 17-012 bracket or 3/8" diameter S400-23 and 17-031 bracket depending on your dimensions.

You would also need a red tip option to support a 9-pound window sash. Thanks for posting!
