Spiral Balance Question

Hello!
I got your spiral balances, and they are almost correct. They have the spiral part right up until the end where the "T" hanger is. However my previous balances have a longer, straight section (the spiral doesn't go right up until the end). This is an issue as the spiral won't let the balance hook into the hangers that in teh window frame and attached to the window.

Is there a different balance that straightens out, or a different hanger part that I can order and attach to the lower window unit?

Hello, thank you for posting,

It appears that the Series 500 channel balance was purchased. This series is for a non-tilt window application and will not engage with the pivot shoe in the window channel. If the original diameter of the tube is 5/8", please review the Series 600 spiral balance for your tilt window.
