Spiral balance length

Question

My spiral balance length measures 28.5" 3/8" yellow tilt type. All I see is 28" and 29". Which one would be a better replacement 28" or 29" ?

Thanks for posting. For a spiral balance that has a length ending in a X-1/2" increment, we advise rounding up. So you'd want the S900-29. Note that sometimes what appears to be a Yellow Tip is just a tip with corroded color. The Yellow Tip option supports a window sash in the weight range of 24 through 34 pounds.
