Hello,
I was searching your website for a Spiral Balance as the window I have the spiral is all twisted up due to a breakdown with the plastic sheathing. Anyway my window is a Single hung Tilt and the balance is apx 30 1/4 inches long and has a white plastic at the base. The window that lifts is 30" tall and 32 ' wide.
Is this the correct one to purchase? S900-30
I know that 2 of them would be necessary to fix the window.
Thanks,
Ron

Thanks for posting. I can't confirm if our S900-30 will work for you without more information. First, I'd like to know more about the white plastic at the base. Does it look broken? Could it have once been a cover for the entire balance? If so, what is its diameter? As for the length, can you double check? Usually, for spiral balance lengths, we just measure the tube. Let me know!

hI,
ONE SIDE IS BROKEN FOR SURE, BUT IN MEASURING THE OTHER BALANCE SPRING THE WHITE PLASTIC TUBE IS 29 1/2" X 3/8 WIDE. THE LOWER TIP OF THE SPRING ITSELF HAS A CLEAR/OPAQUE PLASTIC NUB (NOT COLORED LIKE YOUR WEB SITE EXPLAINED). hOPE THAT HELPS.

Great! If the outer diameter of the plastic tube is 3/8", then I think you should definitely consider our Series 900 spiral balance. If it's 29" long, then check out our S900-29.
