Spiral balance shoe?

Home Owner from Denver
Hi, I've been doing some maintenance on our windows that all use 40" 5/8 spiral balances. Thanks to a very helpful post on your site, I was able to lubricate all but one of the windows and am happy with how they open and close. However, one of the spiral balances is broken, so I plan to order two to replace. I want to make sure I have all the correct parts in case anything else is broken. Should I order new models of what I uploaded, and can you identify what that might be? Thank you!

Hello,

Take a look at the (5/8") S600-40 spiral balances for tilt-windows. There should be a colored piece of plastic at the base of the tube that you'll need to determine the color option for your replacements.

How to measure the tube length of the S600 spiral balance.

If you need new pivot shoes as well, we'd need to see yours uninstalled. We'll also need you to write out the exact width and thickness to narrow down your options. Thank you!
