Spiral balance tube

Question

Looking for replacement. Tubes are 33 inches long, about 5/8 inch in diameter and the sash weight is nine pounds. Window is double hung maybe from 1960s or so. Also, if no replacement parts, can we clean them/ lubricate and reuse? Thanks

Thanks for your post! You'll need the S500-33 to replace you balances. Although, I would be sure to double check the diameter of the balance tube to confirm. If you find they are 3/8", you'll need the S400-33 with a white tip.

Should you need the Series 500, please let me know as we'll need to inquire with our vendor manager about the available tip color options. Your sash weight falls below the range this balance supports.

To replace the bracket on the balance, you'll need the 17-012 Bracket, #32.
