Spiral balance tube lenght

Question

Hey, im trying to order a replacement spiral balance for my window and came up with 2 questions
- measuring of my original tube lenght is 28.5, should i go with 28 or 29 lenght for a replacement one?
- color of the tip is unrecognizable, my sash weight is about 19lbs, so it tells me i should go with your red tip balance 10-22lbs balance, my question is if i would go up to green tip 14-26lbs would it make my balance more reliable over time since , im assuming its design to handle heavier sashes ?

Hey there. Is this for a tilt window? If so, round up with a length that ends in an X-1/2" increment. Go with the 29" spiral balance.

As far as the weight range, a stronger color rating won't really matter here. The Red Tip is more than well equipped to handle your window's weight.
