Spiral balance with extended rod

Question

I need to replace an old spiral balance for a non-tilt window. It is 5/8 in diameter. The tube length is 17". When the spring is fully inserted into the tube it protrudes 1-3/4". I am told this is and extended rod. Do you have this type of rod available? The nylon bushing is white. Could I substitute an 18" balance if you do not have the extended rod?
