Spiral balancer

I have pictures of what I think is a Black tip on another window of the same size, 36"X60" in another bed room.
My balancer looks to be 3/8" wide by 28 1/2" long, just the tube. Spiral alone measures 29 1/4" long.
Can you please help with this?
