Spiral balances

A handy person from Rhode Island says:
I've ordered in the past from your company with good results. I have the spiral balance tooling and the know how as to how to install them. My question to you is the spiral balance in my new house seems to be a larger diameter than 3/8 but smaller than 5/8 (9/16). Also it has a white plastic housing with a yellow tip . I do not see the white housing or yellow tips on your website. I can fit a 5/8 (9/16) one in the housing so I think I may go with that with a blue tip. Please advise if that's ok

Thanks

Some older balances were made with a white nylon tube. I would make sure you measure that when determining the diameter, not the inside spring. We don't have white tube springs but our metal tubes will work all the same. As for the color tip, your best bet is to weigh your sash to confirm the best option.
