Spiral balances for double tilt windows

Hi Gabe. I believe we can help replace this spiral balance setup, but we will need more information. First, we need to see an undamaged spiral balance that still has its outside sheath or tubing intact. That is the tubing you need to measure to get a proper length, as well as diameter. See the video below. For the pivot shoe, you'll also need to remove this and tell us its width and thickness; this cannot be accurately measured without getting the shoe out of the jamb track first. See the second video below. Finally, if you could show us a clearer picture of that pivot bar that connects to the shoe, preferably removed from the sash, that would also be a big help. We'll do our best to narrow down what you need from there.
