Spiral tilt balance

Question

Need to replace two. Seems like there is a plastic tube around the iner spring. The plastic tube measures 24".  Do I also need a tension tool to install?

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Is the outer tube 5/8" in diameter? If so, see the S600-24. However, if it's 3/8", see the S900-24 instead. You can also select the blue tip option.

As for the charging tool, we offer the 75-006 for tilt window spiral balances but it is currently out of stock. If you'd rather not wait, you can also use needle-nose pliers to charge and attach the spiral end.
