Our balances are 22" long in a tilt window. The tube is 3/8" and the stop color is green.

Thanks for posting. Based on that description, you need the S900-22 Spiral Balance with a Green Tip. Let me know if you have questions.

Actually I think the tube is 9/16"

OK, if the tube is 9/16" (or 5/8" in the trade) you'll need the S600-22. The Series 600 doesn't have a Green Tip option, but no matter. Just weigh the window sash the spiral balances support. You can use that exact sash weight to choose the correct color tip option for your replacement. Let me know if you have questions.
