Spiral tips shorter than mine

Question

I ordered 28 series 900 balances, but they are not a good fit. (order 1009692). I will have to return them.

What do you suggest?

Hi there- thanks so much for reaching out!

The company that made your pivot shoe and tilt balance, has gone out of business unfortunately. Looking at your pivot shoe, we believe the original balances were the 5/8" thick tilt balance, which is our Series 600. Please compare one of the original balances, including the plastic sleeve as the thickness to confirm the 5/8" diameter. Also purchasing our 75-006 would be helpful if you don't have one already.
