Spiral window balance

A landlord from Baltimore, MD says:
This window balance is within a plastic tube and has a green plastic cap. It measures 25" (entire tube)

To start, is this for a tilt window? As well, what is the tube diameter (the outer tube)? Finally, you may want to weigh your window sash before you proceed, as that weight will be important. Come back with those three pieces of info, and we will move forward with the identification process.

A landlord from Baltimore, MD says:
Sure it's a tilt sash. I'd want to say it's about 1/2" on the outer tube. I will try to get the weight. Let me know if this gets us closer to the part or at leas narrows it down.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Looks like the diameter is just one notch above 1/2". Does that sound right? Trying to read a ruler in a photo is usually not a great idea. Once we have the weight and you confirm that, we can get the exact part number.

A landlord from Baltimore, MD says:
Hello, sorry for the late reply. I weighed the sash to about 16lbs 10oz. The sash had to lean slightly on my hand so that it would stand upright on the scale so I would say 17lbs to be safe.

I have attached a photo of the tube diameter. It seems to be slightly over half an inch.
