Thanks for contacting us. We can make these balances, but they will have to be specially made. Before we begin, can you confirm the diameter of the outer tube? You mention that it's similar to the Series 306, which has a 3/8" diameter tube, but then you mention that one has a black tip, which is only used on 5/8" diameter tubes. I would also like you to confirm the length of the tube itself.
Can you also confirm the length of the internal spiral rod?

The 3/8 inch tube is the black tip for a 30 inch window.
The 7/16th red tip is for a 46 inch window.
I was told the red tip holds more weight and is the larger tube?

These are specially made because they have a special clip at the top that doesn't come with any standard Series.
No 3/8" diameter balance was ever made with a black tip, so I would wager that tip is just discolored from age. We will need you to give me the exact weight of the sash.
You mention the other balance is 7/16", which is a weird size. It should be either 3/8" or 5/8". There isn't any other option for this style of balance.
We don't need the size of the window, we need the size of the tubes and the internal spiral rod. Knowing the size of the window itself doesn't help, I'm afraid.
