Spiral window channel

Question

Our window won't open easily and think this is the culprit. The window is 58 and 3/4 and the circumference of that white tube is 5/8ths

Hey Susan. Yes, it sounds like you may need new spiral balances. If it is 5/8" diameter then it is a Series 600. You'll need to measure the outer tube length to get the proper length. See the videos below for details. Let me know if you have further questions.
