Spline Groove Size for Pull Tab 70-128

Based on picture the tab mounts in spline grove, will it work in a spline grove for .125 spline.

Thank you for your patience during this busy spring season. I believe the 70-128 pull tab should work in a .125 screen groove. When we were repairing and manufacturing screens we never did seem to have a problem with it. The 70-128 is made of plastic so it should give and you can trim the lip on the pull tab if you have to, but I don't think you will.

The above response mentions that these screen panel pull tabs may likely work with a .125" spline size, but doesn't explicitly mention the spline dimension of the tabs. I have some screen frames with a .140" spline size, and am wondering if this pull tab will fit. What is the actual width of the portion that fits in the spline?

That part of the 70-128 pull tab that goes into the screen groove is just under 1/8" wide, or just over .1 decimal wide. I believe it should fit.
